Special Colloquium and Award Ceremony - Honorary Doctorate for Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Junge

The Cooperative Research Center "Protonation Dynamics for Protein Function" (SFB 1078) invites to the special colloquium and ceremony, where Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Junge is awarded the honorary doctorate of Freie Universität Berlin, Department of Physics.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Junge from the University of Osnabrück is honored for his outstanding achievements in biophysics. Over the past decades, he has been well known and acknowledged for his research on photosynthesis, molecular bioenergetics, and membrane biology.

The list of speakers during the special colloquium include Prof. Dr. Menachem Gutman (Tel Aviv University, Israel), Prof. Dr. Ernst Bamberg (Max Planck Institute for Biophysics, Frankfurt a.M.), and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Junge himself.

At 18:00, the ceremony will be followed by a reception in the library of the Department of Physics.
